Is this Adobe?
It’s not! The easiest way to describe it is “engineered adobe.” The blocks come out perfect every time. Unlike adobe, our blocks are 100% mineral, so they are literally impervious to fire and insect infestations. They are excellent sound absorbers and very poor sound transmitters – perfect for a residence, a wall between properties, or your teenager’s new garage band.
Our specs
Blocks are 4.0″ (+/- 0.03″) x 12.0″ (+/- 0.03″) x 8 (+/- 0.25″). Density is 2000kg/m^3 CP~=0.6J/K-g
Production Capacity
We run at 500k blocks per year, but can double with 3+ months of lead time.
Getting Our Blocks
Blocks weigh 28lbs dry and are shipped in pallets of 72 or 75. Pallets can withstand triple stacking.
